Rose Elementary is delighted to welcome New York Times bestselling author Mac Barnett and award-winning illustrator Shawn Harris on Friday, November 8th. Mr. Barnett and Mr. Harris will talk with third graders about their careers and discuss their new book, The First Cat in Space and the Wrath of the Paperclip, book three in their
First Cat in Space graphic novel series.
Mac and Shawn have been friends since childhood. They must have had a blast while creating an album of songs for both The First Cat in Space Ate Pizza and
The First Cat in Space and the
Soup of Doom. Thanks to a Rose student for letting me know about this! The albums are available on Spotify and are quite eclectic.
All families are welcome to order any of the three books in series. Books will be autographed, but not personalized.
